New couch options
Dempsey has had a habit of destroying our lovely hand-me-down couches and claiming them for his own. Amanda and I would like to get a new couch of our own at some point in time and price is very important. I found these two mid-century modern couches online that are both under $500. Amanda says they wont be comfortable to sit on, but what she really means is they wont be comfortable to lay on.

We also found this more traditional couch for under $800 at Macy's. We have had 3 couches so far and they have all been green so why switch now? It does come in other colors however.

We're also looking for a slightly larger and less ornate coffee table. We played with the idea of re purposing belts again like we did with the dresser top. The only problem there is that it might take 60-80 old belts, which though cheap, are hard to come by. (We wiped out the greater Indy area when making the first belt project.
I like the traditional couch. It looks way more comfortable, and part of the joy of a couch is being able to lay down on it. The one with no arms looks really uncomfortable.
Go for something you know will be comfy since you want to be happy with it for awhile. The first 2 look trendy, but painful! I got my whole set couch, loveseat, and chair for $1,4000 including delivery. The couch itself was only 600 or 700 so you can find them out there if you shop around.
i cant pay fourteen thousand right now
You know what I meant, smart a**
