The Afters
We have a bad history of not taking before pictures so without further ado, here are the afters.
An old school desk chair from Immaculate Heart of Mary.
An old frame turned into a chalkboard with plywood and chalkboard paint
One dollar Drexel Media stand from an estate sale repainted
and maps behind the grates
Amanda's old dresser with new hardware and a fresh coat of paint
It was so hot when we painted that the paint naturally alligatored
Old map of paris from a travel guide, sectioned and put in Target frames
Closeup
Old belts from thrift-stores turned into a dresser top
Full frontal
Drake's dresser refinished with tung oil and new hardware
Old photo of Drake's Great Grandpa's Intramural Basketball team framed
Old Navy graduation panorama of Drake's Grandpa framed
And in the whites
Old map of Japan from a travel guide matted and framed.

The basketball picture might have been Lafayette Jeff H.S. He played in the 1919 state finals.
Can't wait to see all you new projects when they are finished.
the photo is titled Sigma Alpha Epsilon. He was the champ of 1921
also that is an old school-desk chair, not an old-school desk chair
I went to Immaculate Heart of Mary...we sure didn't have those desks though! :) Cool stuff you guys have found. Can't wait to see it in your house!
